Their mission is centered around financial sovereignty, operational integrity, and creating a trusted alternative within the precious metals space.

The Role

They are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the company through a period of rapid growth and operational expansion. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this person will oversee day-to-day business operations across technology, finance, marketing, fulfillment, customer service, and operational infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership experience within financial services, commodities, trading, banking, or related industries, and has successfully scaled organizations in high-growth environments. This person should be comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial company while maintaining operational discipline, financial rigor, and high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic initiatives established by company leadership and ensure alignment across all business functions.
  • Oversee operational areas including fulfillment, order processing, customer service, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external partners including vendors, depositories, market makers, and service providers.
  • Collaborate closely with technology leadership to implement systems and tools that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop operational processes, KPIs, and reporting structures to support company growth and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Manage operational risk related to inventory, transactions, and market exposure.
  • Lead initiatives focused on scaling operational capacity, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
  • Support hiring and team development efforts while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to support new products, services, and long-term business initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business management, or operational strategy.
  • Background in financial services, commodities, banking, trading, capital markets, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience scaling operations in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, transaction processing, logistics, and customer operations.
  • Experience managing operational systems such as CRM platforms, inventory systems, order management tools, call center software, and reporting/analytics platforms.
  • Ability to partner effectively with technical teams on systems implementation and operational technology initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and operational accountability across multiple departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong preference for candidates open to relocating to Fargo, North Dakota.
