Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head of International Business Development to lead our global expansion efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to attract and retain private banks, wealth managers, institutional investors and family offices across key European markets. You will be a key driver of our growth, working hand in hand with the CEO and the leadership team to expand our global footprint and enhance our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust international business development strategy, identifying new markets and opportunities for growth.
- Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of investors, including private banks, wealth managers, institutional allocators, pension funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices.
- Sales & Partnerships: Lead all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing, and forge strategic partnerships to expand our distribution channels.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to inform our business strategy and product development.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a growing team of sales development professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Openstone at industry conferences, roadshows, and events to promote our brand and investment strategies.
- 10+ years of experience in the asset management industry, preferably, but not necessarily, with a focus on private markets.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, and investor relations, specifically with private banks, wealth managers, institutional and sophisticated investors.
- Deep understanding of private markets, evergreen funds, and funds of funds.
- Existing network of relationships with investors and family offices in Europe.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
