They're looking for a remote Senior Solar Designer who can ensure quality control of all designs from the designers and actually do the designs themselves, not wait for a revision when it's needed.

The Role:
They're looking for a remote Senior Solar Designer who can ensure quality control of all designs from the designers and actually do the designs themselves, not wait for a revision when it's needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering for projects in our pipeline.
- Complete system designs for PV projects, including site plans, mechanical racking and mounting plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labeling.
- Provide engineering support to operations as needed.
- Understand the optimal design applications and design limitations of our products.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with Aroura design software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum 5 years of design experience related to renewable energy, photovoltaic systems, electrical systems, and construction practices.
- BS degree in ME or EE or related field preferred.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
