The Role:
Staytuned is hiring for a Director of Finance who will be responsible for managing complex financial operations, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the overall financial health across all companies. This role will work closely with the Executive Chairman and CEO of the parent company and leadership across all of our operating companies. The ideal candidate has strong finance skills and a deep understanding and passion for SaaS as well as emerging ecommerce product business models. They will use this knowledge to drive financial performance and advise executives accordingly.

Responsibilities:
- Own and optimize the company's operating model, providing strategic financial insights to leadership.
- Develop financial forecasting models for budgeting, headcount planning, and debt amortization.
- Oversee bookkeeping, month-end close processes, and preparation of financial reports for investors.
- Manage relationships with external accounting firms, ensuring accurate GAAP reporting, tax filings, and financial compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost optimization opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Mentor and manage the finance team.
- Partner with operating company and business unit leaders to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
- Maintain relationships with debt providers and finance consultants to ensure financial health.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of progressive finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- Experience in some combination of venture-backed startups, strategy consulting, and/or investment banking
- Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and operational finance
- Expertise in SaaS metrics and financial modeling
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- High level of integrity and commitment to transparency and ethical financial practices
