Position overview:
The Podcast Producer will oversee the end-to-end management of the Biohack-It Podcast, ensuring seamless coordination between production, publishing, and promotional efforts across Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and social media. This person will be responsible for growing our downloads, strengthening our audience engagement, and helping curate aligned future guests.
Main responsibilities:
The ideal candidate have at least five years of relevant experience in podcast production and promotion, not only collaborating in a team but actually scaling media properties.

The Podcast Producer will oversee the end-to-end management of the Biohack-It Podcast, ensuring seamless coordination between production, publishing, and promotional efforts across Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and social media. This person will be responsible for growing our downloads, strengthening our audience engagement, and helping curate aligned future guests.
Main responsibilities:
- Upload all finalized podcast episodes (audio and video) to Spotify for Podcasters, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.
- Work closely with the podcast producer to ensure timely delivery of final files, quality checks, and successful uploads.
- Collaborate with the YouTube team to optimize YouTube video uploads with proper titling, descriptions, thumbnails, and SEO best practices.
- Edit short-form video clips (reels, shorts) from podcast episodes to promote across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Strategize and execute content posting schedules aimed at increasing downloads and subscriber growth across all platforms.
- Monitor analytics across Spotify, Apple, and YouTube to assess performance and propose adjustments to grow audience engagement.
- Propose new, aligned guest speakers for upcoming seasons based on Biohack-It's ethos and audience interests.
- Assist in researching guests to ensure to be included on the podcast.
- Act as the main liaison between the host, and YouTube/social media teams.
- Maintain a detailed podcast episode calendar to track production timelines, guest recordings, and publishing deadlines.
- Support overall production workflows and troubleshoot technical or logistical issues if they arise.
- Track key performance indicators (downloads, listens, audience retention, subscriber growth) and provide monthly reports.
- Identify insights and trends to recommend strategies for improving reach, listener retention, and episode performance.
- Identify growth opportunities and optimize content based on data-driven results.
