About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in Java Spring Boot, Angular (TypeScript), and MySQL to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain API-based applications using Java Spring Boot on the backend and Angular (TypeScript) on the frontend.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and authentication mechanisms using Keycloak or similar identity management solutions.
- Ensure optimal performance and security of MySQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in AWS environments, leveraging cloud-native services where applicable.
- Work with regulated industries, ensuring compliance with PHI (Protected Health Information) and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) security standards.
- Develop and integrate with HL7 and other healthcare-related interoperability standards, where applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and follow best practices in software development.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience with Java Spring Boot, Angular (TypeScript), and MySQL.
- Experience developing API-based applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL architectures.
- Hands-on experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and authentication mechanisms using Keycloak or similar IAM solutions.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud deployments, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Strong understanding of data security best practices, particularly related to PHI and PII.
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with compliance and security considerations.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on software architecture and design patterns.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to pass a background check (required for compliance and security standards).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HL7 and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) in addition to MySQL.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, message queues, and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
